The Client |

Handheld Computing Magazine was a mobile publication in the mid-2000’s that featured articles and reviews of the latest trends in mobile electronics and computing.

The Solution |

As the main graphic designer and illustrator for the publication, I delivered cover designs, new magazine logo, advertisement designs, and article illustrations. This design of a man dwarfed by an aging technology was used for an article on the state or more succinctly the death of the personal digital assistant. The final product illustrates that though man needs a device to organize his digital life, the PDA technology has become archaic and has taken on the image of an IBM mainframe. The demise of the PDA gave birth to the smart phone.
